"Domaine Denizot is located in Verdigny, right next to Sancerre. It covers almost 16 hectares of Sauvignon and 5 of Pinot Noir, straddling the villages of Amigny, Sancerre, Chavignol and Verdigny.
  
With Jennifer and Thibauld who arrived in 2005 for a gradual takeover and who have been in charge 100% since 2016, it is the 6th generation of Denizot who are now at the head of the estate, which has recently expanded by 2 hectares in Pouilly-Fumé from the Gauvin grandparents.
  
Harvesting by hand:
  
- As soon as they arrive in the cellar, respect the grapes by gentle and respectful handling of the fruit.
  
- Protection of the grapes with dry ice as soon as they are put in the vats to protect the oxidation of the juices and control the temperature of the harvest.
  
Devatting when all the sugars have broken down into alcohol.
  
Blending of the press juices and free-run juice in concrete tank.
  
Aging for about a year dictated by the completion of malolactic fermentation which occurs naturally.
  
Nose: Fruity with notes of strawberry and cherry.
  
Palate: Elegant, balanced and round."
