- "The estate is located in Chavanay in the northern Côtes du Rhône, in the heart of the Pilat Regional Natural Park. Roland Grangier cultivates and vinifies 11 ha spread over three appellations: Condrieu, St Joseph, Côte Rôtie and Vins de Pays.
- Agriculture has always been part of the family history, whether in livestock farming, arboriculture or viticulture.
- Marc Manoa, Roland's grandfather, was a farmer, he cultivated vines in the commune of Pélussin, he made wine and had a dairy farm.
- Charles Grangier, Roland's father, after a few years spent on his brother-in-law's farm, settled in the commune of Chavanay by creating a mixed farming operation (vines and fruit trees).
- In 2002, Roland Grangier created the Domaine Grangier with 1.5 ha of vines, he took over the vines of his parents and a neighbor. He expands by planting Saint Joseph Blanc, Saint Joseph rouge and Condrieu to dedicate the estate to the exclusive cultivation of vines.
- After two years of work, in 2012 Roland and Céline Grangier moved into a new cellar. A wine storehouse, a vat room and a tasting cellar were built.
- Hand-picked.
- The grapes are hand-picked with an initial sorting at the plot. In the cellar, sorting and total destemming. Stainless steel vats for 3 weeks with temperature control.
- Aged in oak barrels for 18 months.
- "La Côte" comes from the best hillsides of Chavanay. You will appreciate this wine for its power and concentration, its aromas of red fruits and its spicy notes."
