"Domaine Jean Foillard is an emblematic domain of Beaujolais. Jean Foillard, who took over the domain in 1981, produces natural wines which allow Gamay to express itself fully. Jean Foillard works the two most famous terroirs of Morgon, the mythical Côte du Py and the renowned Corcelette. He also farms beautiful plots in the neighboring Fleurie appellation. Son and grandson of a winegrower, he was inspired by Marcel Lapierre to cultivate his vines in the way closest to the organic and the nature movement.
