  • "On the mythological and fertile land of the island of Porquerolles, in the heart of the La Courtade plain, the Domaine was founded by Henri Vidal in 1983. 35 hectares of vines bordered by the Mediterranean Sea will be certified organic from 1997.
  • 31 years have passed when Edouard Carmignac took over the Domaine, keen to transmit his love of nature and beautiful things to wine. It is in this new momentum but in the same trajectory that Domaine de Courtade is reviving its wines. Knowing how to surround yourself well is an indisputable talent and Edouard Carmignac knows it well!
  • Michel Couturier, head of cultivation since 1987, gradually passed on the torch and the secrets to a young team led by Florent Audibert, operations director and oenologist. Son and grandson of winegrowers, he took over the reins of the Domaine in 2015. The vineyard now practices Biodynamics as an extension of this new energy and its history.
  • Harvest: The most beautiful plots of old Rolle vines were selected and reserved to produce this Courtade Blanc. The grapes are harvested very early at night in order to maintain their freshness and protect them from oxidation.
  •  Aging on lees for 6 months is carried out in barrels.
  •  A nose of passion fruit and white flowers reveals elegant toasted notes.
  •  The palate is balanced between the roundness conferred by aging and the natural freshness of the grapes.
  •  The saline finish marks this wine and places it back in its terroir."
