"Ruinart is the First Champagne House founded in 1729 in Épernay by Nicolas Ruinart, the nephew of the Benedictine monk Dom Thierry Ruinart.
  
Located in the heart of Reims, Maison Ruinart watches over a treasure. Unique, historical monuments and architectural feats, the Ruinart chalk pits have been classified as a historic site since 1931 and included on the UNESCO world heritage list since July 2015. Blend of 40 to 50 vintages including 20 to 30% reserve wine from harvests from different years.
  
The first nose releases subtle fruity notes of pippin and apricot, as well as hazelnut and fresh almond. A touch of complexity is added with touches of elderflower and coriander seed. The second nose then gives way to intense scents of brioche and biscuit.
  
Sweet aromas of yellow fruits, plum tart and ripe stone fruits are revealed on the palate. A harmonious and persistent roundness envelops the palate.
  
The final note reveals the characteristic freshness of Chardonnay."
