This appellation designates the part of the Médoc peninsula that extends from the gates of the Gironde capital to Saint-Seurin de Cadourne, in the North. Historically, it constitutes the matrix of many grands crus classés and crus bourgeois.
  
Reasoned agriculture, with treatments limited to the strict minimum, no weedkillers, widespread use of cereals to aerate the soils and optimize their microbial life, manual harvests in small 4 kg crates to preserve the berries' integrity.
  
Aged for 14 months in oak barrels, 35% of which are new wood.
  
2018 shows an intense nose of elderberry, blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry, fresh raspberry, carried by a light and melted woodiness.
  
The palate reveals a beautiful tension and tannins with finesse, a good tannic structure and a long finish."
