- "Promoted Cru Classé de Provence in 1955, Château Galoupet was acquired in 2019 by Moët Hennessy, the Wines & Spirits division of the LVMH group, with the ambition of restoring these unique terroirs to their letters of nobility.
- Château Galoupet watches over a terroir of 77 hectares of classified woods and 69 hectares of vines in organic conversion since August 2020. The estate's terroir is made up of 41 individually vinified plots. Following the acquisition of the estate, Moët Hennessy carried out a complete soil study (lasting 3 years), the application of rigorous care throughout the vineyard as well as the modernization of winemaking tools, in order to to produce a great Côtes de Provence wine.
- The first vintage revealed following the buyout and made 100% from the property's grapes, Château Galoupet 2021 reflects both the richness of the great terroirs of Provence and the environmental approach undertaken by the LVMH group. This philosophy translates here into environmentally friendly viticulture as well as innovative packaging, namely an amber glass bottle that is 70% recyclable and very light.
- Since 2021, the use of a new press ideally protects the grapes from oxidation while preserving the aromatic purity of the pulp through gentle pressing. The wines are vinified and aged in a state-of-the-art barrel cellar, promoting temperature control during fermentation as well as optimal expression of the terroirs.
- Complex and intense, the nose combines fruity (peach) and floral fragrances with notes of citrus and bitter almonds.
- Beautifully rounded, the palate seduces with its density, its structure as well as its long and mineral finish reminiscent of the delicate Mediterranean sea breeze blowing over the estate's vineyard."
