- "Created in 1859, by Mr. Louis Jadot, Maison Louis Jadot has always been located in the center of Beaune, in the heart of the vineyard. Installed in a 19th century mansion, it has superb cellars connected to the Couvent des Jacobins located in two steps.
- Run by three generations of Jadot, then for 30 years by Mr. André Gagey, the House is now in the hands of his son Pierre-Henry helped by Mr. Jacques Lardière, oenologist of the House for more than 40 years, before passing the torch to Mr Frédéric Barnier.
- Ladoix is one of the villages in the north of the Côte de Beaune. It is located to the North East of the village of Aloxe Corton, at the foot of the Corton mountain.
- The harvest is manual in small boxes in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The grapes are then gently pressed and then fermented in the barrels of the cooperage, a third of which are new.
- Aging lasts approximately 15 months on fine lees before preparation for bottling.
- The Ladoix white Le Clou d'Orge 2021 is a rich wine which brings great freshness and a certain acidity.
- Its aromas evoke ripe stone fruits and citrus fruits.
- A beautiful thickness linked to this acidity forms a beautiful harmony on the palate."
