- "Bomont de Cormeil is an estate located near the Provençal village of Fox Amphoux where it benefits from very favorable exposure and cultivation conditions for this single grape variety : Viognier.
- Tom Bove, an American businessman, spent eighteen years building a formidable reputation for organically produced wines at his family home in Provence, Château Miraval. After leaving Miraval, Tom acted quickly to acquire this remarkable property that he had long admired and which happened to be on the market. The estate, while romantically beautiful, was in need of extensive and careful renovation, starting with the grounds. The south-facing hills were cleared to allow the planting of Syrah and Viognier, with the first harvests completed in 2012.
- Exceptionally low yields. The grapes are picked by hand into small containers and sorted in the vineyard and then again on a sorting table in the cellar. Part aged in oak barrels.
- Elegant nose, characterized by varied aromas of small black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) and spices. Accompanied by touches of toasted vanilla.
- Taste : Round and sumptuous, with velvety tannins. This Syrah is perfectly balanced between the freshness of the fruit and the subtle aging in oak with an intense finish of black cherry."
