Provençal tradition attributes the introduction of Muscat into the vineyards to "King René" (which is why his statue sits on the Cours Mirabeau, in Aix en Provence, with a bunch of grapes in his hand).   • Bouquet : Its muscat nose, with notes of flowers, roses, jasmine enhanced by a hint of citrus and exotic fruits.
  • The palate : Bau is a wine which asserts itself with great lightness; easy to drink with a good length in the mouth provided by the muscat. Its rather fruity, very aromatic taste, characteristic of muscat grains, reveals very particular notes of jasmine flowers.
  • Honey and sometimes a hint of bergamot complete this unique aromatic bouquet."
