"Maison Louis Latour, a merchant-producer of white and red wines in Burgundy, France, was created in 1797. It makes a point of honor to remain independent and family-run. In 1979, Louis Latour decided to explore Ardèche, a region with clay and limestone soils, to produce a Chardonnay wine.
  
Mechanical harvest.
  
The Ardèche Chardonnay is aged in stainless steel vats for about 10 months.
  
Traditional fermentation in stainless steel vats, controlled temperature, 100% malolactic.
  
Its intense nose of candied lemon then asserts itself on notes of citrus marmalade, acacia and thyme.
  
The attack, very fresh, reveals a beautiful tension in the mouth where aromas of candied lemon and white flowers are revealed.
  
This is a long wine that finishes round with a slight salinity."
